PROJECT SUMMARY
Curo Interiors successfully refurbished Unit 24, a 36,566 sq ft industrial warehouse at Optima Park, Crayford. The unit had been unmaintained for over 16 years, and this end-of-tenancy refurbishment transformed an
outdated and neglected space into a clean, functional facility, ready for new occupancy by Matthew Clark.
The project involved a comprehensive strip-out of existing finishes and both external and
internal refurbishments to restore the unit to a high standard. Key works included the
cleaning and repair of the warehouse floor, redecorating walls and doors, and installing new
flooring throughout the office space. The ceiling system was upgraded to enhance acoustic
performance, fire safety, and humidity resistance.
Externally, the works revitalised the façade and improved access while maintaining
operational safety on site. Clearly marked work zones and the use of roll-on/roll-off skips
reduced vehicle movements, minimising environmental impact. High-level works were safely
completed with the use of MEWPs, ensuring both efficiency and the wellbeing of everyone
involved.
The project was delivered on time and within the allocated nine-week programme, thanks
to close collaboration with our long-standing client, Matthew Clark. The successful outcome
has not only enhanced the value of the unit but also reinforced our ongoing partnership with
Matthew Clark.
